About Me

I am not very complicated.

I don’t want to grow up. It took me awhile, but I have shirked off the stigma of wanting to play video games, read comics, and if I could conjure up the same imagination I had as a child I would do so.

I love science. I adore science. I teach psychological research methods at a university and I still can’t get enough. When I am on my Winter and Summer breaks I am doing research just as a hobby. It is not uncommon to find myself hooked up to an electroenchelagram (EEG–I own two) just so I can see what my brain is doing.

My scientific interests are mostly in the realm of psychophysiology.

  • EEG and Neurofeedback
  • Brain Entrainment technology
  • Integrating technology into clinical settings
  • Questioning older models of psychopathology

When not sciencing, I am playing. I love movies–even the bad movies. I play lots of video games. The Mass Effect trilogy is my obsession. I love comics. I don’t read very much because I read research articles ALL the time.

This blog is another hobby of mine. My goal is to make psychological research a little more accessible as well as provide a place for me to discuss things I enjoy.
